Welcome to the first installment of the Agentis Energy newsletter.  This email newsletter will be a monthly occurrence intended to provide you energy saving tips, keep you aware of the developments at Agentis Energy, and provide links to valuable articles, reports, and events associated with energy efficiency.  Agentis is the Latin word for efficiency, and we are committed to helping you improve  your energy efficiency.

Since the NPE show at the McCormick Center in late June, our technology continues to progress nicely.  We have continued the roll out of our Beta customers and are excited to start offering our solution to the marketplace in the months ahead.  In addition to our own progress, there have been some major studies that have validated the energy efficiency value proposition.

McKinsey & Company released a recent study called Unlocking Energy Efficiency in the U.S. Economy.   A summary of the report states that investing in energy efficiency of buildings could reduce our nation’s energy consumption by 23% by 2020.  This could save the U.S. economy 1.2 Trillion dollars.  The link to download the study can be found here: McKinsey & Company: Full Report
